These bridesmaids are my closest friends and family. We’ve shared so many special memories, and I’m so beyond thankful for each one of them. I’m so honored that they get to share a part of the greatest day of both mine and Jad’s lives. I wouldn’t change it for the world! You ladies are the best!
Lori-My crazy sistah. The thief of my clothes. She eventually gives them back, only to steal it again a week later lol. But, all joking aside, I can always depend on her to be there for me to talk to or get advice from anytime I’m freaking out about something. BTW her kids are super duper adorable!
The oldest child. She’s super smart and runs her own business while working a full-time job and raising 2 kids plus Adam. One word. Superwoman. She always has an open door to me to come over and hang out which was a super-lifesaver in college. Plus I love seeing my cute little niece and nephew.
My musical, artsy sis! I love how she has a heart for the ministry and a heart to teach kids to have a love for godly music. I’m so proud of her accomplishments with starting her own orchestra program. I hear that she makes some pretty good Mexican food, so I’ll be definitely expecting a Mexican dinner when I’m back In Oregon :)
My best bud. We were always inseparable in college. People started getting us confused because we were ALWAYS together. Weekdays I would get off work, go to my room, and I would hear someone coming and tell my roomies “Haley is about to walk in.” Soon after I would hear “MELISSAAAAAAA” and she would walk right in my room. (We won’t disclose how the locked door always opened so easily). We have literally been through thick and thin, and I don’t think I could have made it through college without a friend like her.
My lifelong friend. Whether it was me dragging her away from her books to go climb trees when we were little, or me crashing her nail parties in college, we’ve always been there for each other when we need it most. I really do miss us “hanging” out in the trees, though(*cough cough*). We should do it again sometime.
My lovely tall friend. I could always depend on her for a late night study buddy in college! She is one of the hardest workers I know and I admire her for that! She always see the positive in people and always has the best outlook on life and to top it off, she has a contagious heart of gold!
My possible future sis. Anytime we both need to get away and have some girl time she’s always there to go out with me. She even once witnessed a Samoan lady yell at me for “stealing” someone’s parking spot on one of those dates. Talk about interesting. I’m super thankful for her friendship!
My stylin’ college roomy. I actually had met her in Oregon after playing against her team in volleyball (we always beat them *cough* *cough*). Little did I know she would become my college roomy and one of my closest friends! In college, I always could look to her for fashion advice and I would know that she would actually give me her honest opinion! Oh my word! I like, totally love Aly.
My little friend. This girl introduced me to bubble necklaces and she was always my go-to if I needed one in college. She seriously has like 100. We’ve been through some crazy times together and I’m so thankful that we have stayed close even when she moved away from me I’m glad I still get to visit every once in a while. It helps that Jad’s family lives close to you!
The perfect roommate. I always wondered how someone could achieve such perfection! She’s so organized, creative, and not to mention smart! I always enjoyed our late night and definitely interesting talks.
I cannot even imagine where I would be today were it not for that handful of friends who have given me a heart full of joy. Let's face it, friends make life a lot more fun.
I chose these 10 men to stand by my side during the wedding. We've been through a lot, and although I don't have any brothers, these guys are friends that sticketh closer than a brother. I'm truly blessed to have the greatest cousins and friends.
Mike is the man. Although he is younger than me by a few months, I look up to him. He's godly. Talented. Kind. Smart. Witty. Funny. All of the above. He also shares the same interests with design, startups, technology, and sports. We've always been super close and he always makes me laugh. I'm proud to call him my best man.
This guy is Mr. Fitness. Guns of steel. Although small, he's crazy strong. It's like they say, good things come in small packages. He's my lil bro, and although we argue and butt heads sometimes, he is always there for me. Andrew is a hard worker, and he's very kind and caring. I wish he was still up here so I could hang out with him and work out more often :)
Where do I start? Adriel is like my little brother. He's always there when I need him, and he is someone that I can count on to get the job done. He tells me everything and listens to what I say. He treats me like an older brother and he confides in me. I'm happy that he lives here in the Bay Area, and that we are able to hang out all the time.
Arbz and I grew up together in the Philippines and we are like brothers. He always had the coolest video games and would always share with me when we were kids. He has taught me a lot about many things. He has a great sense of humor and he always lights up the room with his good personality. He's a baller. Glad that this guy is in my wedding.
Rick and I have been the closest of friends since I came to PBS in the 11th grade. We've worked at multiple jobs together, and he was pretty much my taxi service when I didn't have a car. He's also my OG workout partner. I'm so happy for him and his little family, and I hope that we can live close to each other again, so we can hang out more.
John is one of my closest friends. He's a great listener and is one of the few people that I can vent to. I know he'll tell it to me straight, while also being positive and encouraging. There would have been no way that I would have graduated college without this guy. He also makes the best coffee. He's selfless, generous, and will spend his money on everyone else before he gets anything for himself.
Simba. Taylor. Leviathan. Gold and Silva. Crossfit King. These are some of the names that I have for this guy. But out of all the things I can call him, I'm glad I can call him a friend. He's as loyal as they come, and he always has my back. Except for that one time. We won't talk about that... jk :)
When I first met Sam, I thought he was gonna be uptight and that I wouldn't get along with him. He quickly proved me wrong. He's a great friend and I can always count on him when I needed something. From taking me apartment shopping, to driving me to San Francisco to my job interviews, Sam has been such a tremendous help. I'm glad that he's one of my bros, bro.
The good doctor. Tristan (a.k.a. Kenette) always cracks me up with his cheesy quotes and sayings. You can describe him with 2 g's. Goofy and godly. We made many great memories during our time as roommates in college. I've watched him from freshman year all the way to graduation, and he has really grown into a man of God.
When I first met this guy, I was not happy. He was being really loud while I was sleeping. Although he is still loud most of the time, he's an awesome friend that will give you a bear hug when you least expect it. He has a great attitude and is always looking to help out in any way possible. He has a servant's spirit, and he's always a great encouragement to everyone around him.
It’s not how many friends you can count, it’s how many of those you can count on.
